Chateau de Bussy-Rabutin
On the edge of the archaeological site of Alesia, nestling in a small wooded valley, the 16th and 17th C. château is surrounded by ordered gardens irrigated by canals.
A tour of the appartments reveals over 200 17th C. paintings collected by Roger Bussy-Rabutin, a cousin of Mme de Sévigné. He offers us his unusual perspective on the court of Louis XIV.
Magnificent formal garden.
