Chateauneuf en Auxois
The medieval village of Chateauneuf has a very long history and is situated on top of a hill overlooking the Auxois plain and the Vandenesse valley. There are fantastic views to be had from Chateauneuf, so visit it on a day with good visibility. There are also a number of local walks.
The castle was built in 1132 by Jean de Chaudenay.
