1) The booking contract shall be between the hirer and Anne Mason. The contract is not effective until the hirer has paid the 25% deposit and receives written confirmation of the booking.
2) Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. However, if the booking is made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period, the full payment is due.
3) Balance of payment is due 8 weeks prior to the start of the rental period. We reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit where the full payment has not been received by the due date. No reminders are issued prior to payment dates.
4) Written confirmation of the booking will be sent upon receipt of the deposit (or full payment).
5) Cancellation of booking: Provided that Anne Mason is notified not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period the hirer will not be liable to pay the full payment of the rental, although the deposit will be retained if an alternative booking cannot be found. If the hirer cancels less than 8 weeks prior to the start of the rental period, the hirer will be liable to pay the balance due unless an alternative booking can be found for the booked dates. Cancellation must be made in writing to Anne Mason.
6) Personal belongings taken to the rental property and its grounds are at the risk of the hirer at all times. We cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss to personal property including motor vehicles whilst on the premises.
7) Under no circumstances should the number of people staying at the rental property exceed the stated maximum number of people that it can provide for. This is 6 people at La Source, and 2 at La Petite Maison.
8) Responsibilities of the hirer: The hirer will be responsible for the contents of the property and is expected to take reasonable care of the property and its contents. Any loss, breakage, or damage should be reported to Anne Mason as soon as practical.
9) Breakages: We do not take a deposit to cover breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for any breakages that occur during the rental period.
10) Smoking and Pets: we do not permit smoking within the property, nor do we allow any pets.
11) Arrival and departure times: The property will be available from 16:00hrs on the arrival day, and you should aim to check-in no later than 18:00hrs. The property must be vacated by 10:00hrs on the last day of the rental. Anne Mason must approve any alteration of these times in advance.
12) Property descriptions: Every care has been taken to give accurate and up to date descriptions of the property and its contents, but Anne Mason cannot be held responsible for any changes beyond her control.
13) From time to time we like to publish guests comments on our website, so unless otherwise requested, we will assume that you are happy for us to do this
